GOLDEN SUNSET ENGAGEMENT SESSION

Happy Friday! I am super excited to share this gorgeous sunset engagement session on the blog tonight.

Meet Adrianna & Joel they are one of our engagement session winners from January's bridal show. I was super excited to meet Adrianna & Joel as I could tell they were going to be my kind of couple. Adrianna is fun, hilarious and super outgoing. I just loved her bubbly personality. Joel is calm and collected. You can tell how proud he is to have Adrianna by his side. Our session ended at sunset, and it was a perfect night for a perfect session. I must mention they are troopers, for gnats were attacking them and you couldn't even tell in their photos. I had such a great time photographing their silly love. I was sad to find out that I am already booked for their upcoming wedding in October. I would have loved to documented their love on their wedding day. I will be praying for a smooth and perfect wedding for them. May god bless you with many years of happiness.

Ok we have been MIA- Here's why? We recently sold our home folks! To say I'm super busy is an understatement, but I can assure you we are heading towards greatness. I can't reveal the plans just yet, but stay tuned and find out whats in store for us and new adventures. We love you guys and have a safe and blessed weekend.

OAK TREE BACKDROP WEDDING CEREMONY IN THE TEHACHAPI MOUNTAINS

Who would of ever thought a campground wedding could turn out so gorgeous. Kara and Cam Brown that's who. These two choose to say their I do's in the grand outdoors. Lavender accents, pink and white contrasted nicely to the high oaks and tall green grass.

The weather was absolutely perfect on Saturday with a high in the 70's in Tehachapi. Prep started here in town for the ladies at Kara & Cam's house. For the men at the All American Barbershop downtown. The atmosphere at the barber shop was perfect setting for men prep. Cameron & Ryker were already in the chairs when we arrived. Getting cleaned up for the special events ahead. The shop was full of laughter & positive energy. The ceremony and reception took place at the camp ground in Tehachapi surrounded by tall oak trees and tall green grass. The bridal party started prep the day before. Therefore, so much of the hard stuff was done when we arrived. This made it easy to get right to details.

The gentleman complimented the ladies with brown, black, gray &  navy blue accents. The ladies wore gorgeous pastel dresses which enhanced the gorgeous bridal gown Kara wore. The details were simple yet beautiful. She had a pearl necklace that was borrowed, amazingly unique bouquet, and gorgeous blush heels. Everything turned out absolutely perfect. After ceremony we enjoyed a delicious dinner from Frugatti's where Kara works. The cupcakes were just as amazing.

Congratulations Cameron & Kara Brown. Thank you for allowing us to spend your wedding with you & trusting us to document it. We had tons of fun. Your families are precious. You guys did a great job with everything.

SHORT & SWEET ENGAGEMENT SESSION IN THE KERN COUNTY HILLS

I am excited to share Jennifer & Alex's engagement session today on the blog. These two love birds are getting married in just a few months in September of this year. I absolutely love Jennifer's personality because she is super goofy and down to earth. We connected the first time we met instantly. I knew she was my kind of bride. ML Brides are fun, excited, full of love, and life. Enjoy a few pictures from their gorgeous e session.

Engagement sessions are a very important part of our wedding experience. This is the perfect time for us to get to know each other. I use this time to get my clients comfortable with my posing style. I use the first 10 mins to educate my couples on my poses and lil tips & tricks to help our session turn out amazing. Engagement sessions are included in all of our wedding collections.

DELIGHTFUL LAKE FRONT CEREMONY AT THE BAKERSFIELD COUNTRY CLUB

My heart was instantly filled with joy to see how much everyone was enjoying themselves during this beautiful wedding. My favorite moment the whole night was when Nick's GORGEOUS 96 year grandmother was having the time of her life dancing to Wild Cherry "Play that Funky Music". I just hope I will enjoy life as much as her at her age.

I really enjoyed the close relationship between their family and God. Everything they did was with prayer first and through their relationship with the Lord above their personal relationships. The whole wedding was filled with laughter, love, and happiness.

Alyssa's parents joined us for their engagement session, and I can tell they are a close knit family. This really hits close to home because I have four daughters of my own. I loved witnessing the bond Andrea had with her daughters. Nick's brother gave a wonderful heart felt toast that flowed with love.

The ceremony was was charmingly fun, and the decorations were very very beautiful. From the ceremony to the reception the decor was superb thanks to Shannon Lee- hough and her awesome team. They had the most precious custom wooden name plates with each one of their guest names engraved in wood. The candles were lit setting the mood. Green accents made the colorful floral arrangements pop and they smelled amazing. Everything and everyone looked so elegant, and the Bakersfield Country Club was excellent choice for their wedding.

Congratulations Nick & Alyssa. May the lord bless you with many year of happiness. Have fun on your honeymoon. Until then, I am excited to share your wedding sneak peaks with you and your family. Enjoy!!

Wonderful handcrafted wedding decorations in The Sanchez's splendid garden

Banda, Mariachi, plus a DJ equals tremendous fun! Vanessa and Jose love a good party just as much as they love each other. The entertainment was on point. The decorations were charming with rose gold, navy blue and white colors. It was a marvelous sunny day.

I hope everyone Is having a terrific Tuesday! Vanessa and her girlfriends were getting ready at The Padre Hotel. She has the most adorable daughter and dazzling bridesmaids. The ceremony started at 11:00 am at the stunning Saint Philips The Apostle Church. All their family and friends were present, and their vows were straight from the heart. They are both dedicated to God and that's very important in their relationship.

After the ceremony they greeted their loved ones and we took some family pictures. Most of the bridal party jumped into a stretch Ford Excursion limo. The first stop was Bevmo, and then Mc Donald's on our way to  the Sanchez Fruit Yard in Lindsay CA.

It was all hands on deck with the decorations once we arrived at the venue. The delicious aroma of food was in the air. Everyone in the bridal party was helping with something. The team work was fascinating. They handcrafted this huge metal love sign that light up at night, and the baby succulent parting gifts were adorable. There was even a fork lift to help with the heavy lifting. The kids were having a grand time playing games in the grass while the adults listened to Mariachi music. It was easy going. After the Mariachi music the Band took over and the Dj would play in between their breaks. The entertainment never stopped.

We escaped for a few minutes to capture these superb sunset pictures. They were having so much fun dancing to Banda music. The atmosphere was incredible. The gentle breeze made the dancing more enjoyable. It was a grand day!
