    May 27th 2018 was the day Joaquin and Mariana decided to become one before all their closest friends & family. These two lovebirds are easy going like a Sunday morning.

A Sunday wedding was a first for me, and it was a beautiful day. We started at the Padre Hotel with gorgeous Mariana and her bridesmaids and cute flower girls. Mariana had her make up & hair done when we arrived and she looked stunning. After the details she slipped into her gorgeous wedding gown. She made her way to the Junior League of Bakersfield in a car that is as timeless as their love to wait for the ceremony. We had some time to shoot a couple of bridesmaids portraits before we had to hide Mariana away, so Joaquin didn’t see her. Joaquin and his son were getting ready together it was the cutest thing ever. Mariana was full of emotion on this momentous day and for a good reason. The ceremony was delightful as the preacher put a lot of feeling into the service. The decor was done beautifully and they planned it all within 6 months. They shared an intimate first dance. They also shared a family dance which my favorite moment of the whole day. The garter and bouquet toss had everyone in the party involved. It was an excellent day, to say the least. Joaquin and Mariana share a special kind of love for each other and their family.
