These engagement photos at Paso Robles and Montaña de Oro State Park are making me so nostalgic for the good old days when beaches were open, social distancing wasn’t a thing, and I was able to take gorgeous photos like these!

Although I’m nostalgic, I’m super excited to introduce you all to Candace and Darrin. These two gorgeous people met at a birthday party for Candace’s mom. Some time later, they went on their first date to Frugatti’s (they love Italian food!). Candace was so nervous because she really thought Darrin might be the one! How sweet!

Candace knew Darrin was the one when he gave her the code to his house. And Darrin didn’t waste any time proposing. They were on a cruise to Jamaica enjoying a fancy dinner. Before the dessert was served, the servers brought out a tray with the ring on it. Darrin got down on one knee and asked Candace to marry him. I’m going to guess there isn’t a better place in the world to celebrate an engagement than Jamaica!

Candace and Darrin, we can’t wait to party with you and your friends and family at your wedding! The Junior League of Bakersfield is an awesome venue and it’ll be so fun!
