beautiful wedding at the nirvana estate
I was so excited to photograph David and Lorena’s wedding at The Nirvana Estate. It felt so good to be back shooting at my favorite venue in Bakersfield! The Nirvana Estate is so pretty. I mean, GORGEOUS. I always love shooting there. So, of course, it was so fun being back there.
In true 2021 fashion, David and Lorena’s wedding at The Nirvana Estate was a COVID rescheduled wedding. They gave me the biggest compliment EVER when I wasn’t available for their originally rescheduled date. Instead of choosing another photographer, they SWITCHED VENUES so that they could choose a date when I was available. I mean…BEST COMPLIMENT EVER.

Their wedding was so beautiful and sweet. The colors were burgundy and pinks with tons of greenery. Their sweet pup made an appearance at the wedding. That was the cutest thing ever. David and his mom shared the sweetest first look. He is very close with his mom. Lorena and David were both very nervous before their first look. But once they saw each other, all that was out the door.
Lorena and David have been together for many years, after meeting at work. It was so special to see them make the ultimate commitment after being together so long. I’m so thankful they chose us as their photographer (twice!) and that we got to be such a big part of their wedding at The Nirvana Estate.
