Elysse & Anthony’s family have been waiting for this day for many many years. The day before their wedding they celebrated their ten years together. Joined by family & close friends Anthony & Elysse shared their vowels and became one. They chose KLEA in Bakersfield, Ca. Saturday was the first time we have had the privilege to shoot at this venue. It was an exceptional venue. From the outside, it looks small. But it has a spacious ceremony area and reception location.
As the wedding day began Anthony and the guys hung out at the venue getting ready and relaxing before the ceremony. It was super cute when Anthony was getting Gage their son ready he had the biggest smile you ever did see. Anthony looked sharp in his red suit. Elysse and the girls chose a hotel nearby to get ready. When we arrived, the room was full of joy. Elysse and all her bridesmaids were busy getting dolled up. Elysse was glowing from the minute I arrived. Very positive and ready to marry her best friend. Riley, their daughter, napped as the ladies finished up. Right before we left to head to the venue, we managed to get Riley in her cute robe to take pictures with her mommy. Priceless. A mothers love can never be replaced. My heartfelt their joy. It makes me think of the days I will spend these same special moments with my girls.
When we arrived at the venue, Elysse and her dad shared a very heartfelt first look. Then Elysse saw her baby boy for the first time that day. It was precious. The ceremony was perfect, and the weather blessed us. As Elysse walked down the aisle Nick’s eyes filled with tears of joy. Their service was short & sweet. They shared their first kiss as husband & wife.
OH, my!!!! My favorite part of the whole night was when Nick did this hilarious dance all the way to get the garter off of Elysse. Oh my goodness, it was great! He said he waited his whole life to do that. lol These two are very very loved. We are so blessed to be chosen to document their special day. We love you guys! Enjoy this new chapter in your lives. May the Lord bless you with many many years of happiness.
