Maritza & JP’s wedding started a little different than usual. Our day began at the church. They both agreed they wanted to get ready in private.

My first glimpse of gorgeous Maritza was when she walked down the aisle. Wow, she looked incredible in her wedding gown. Jp eyes were full of excitement as she entered the church. They had a traditional Catholic wedding at Our Lady of Guadalupe. The mass was beautiful the pews were filled with family and friends as they became one. After the ceremony, we headed to a downtown location where the light was perfect. Maritza’s hair glowed in the golden light. Maritza & JP had a big bridal party. Twelve on each side. The more, the merrier. Big bridal parties are always fun.

The reception was at El Tango hall in Bakersfield, Ca. The reception was decorated very beautifully highlighting their wedding colors. This hall is very big with tons of room. Steven from SK was the DJ and he is hilarious. Always refreshing to walk into vendors we know.

We snuck out for a few more bridal portraits before the sun entirely set. Then the party continued. The first dance followed by parents dances were super cute. The food was delicious, and the party was tons of fun.

We loved the family atmosphere and the excellent music. We are blessed to have such amazing couples. Thank you again for trusting us to document one of the most special days of your life.
