Elegant Ridgecrest wedding rescheduled due to COVID…making it happen!!!!

Aaron and Ivy’s rescheduled COVID wedding in Ridgecrest turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Due to COVID, their original date was postponed. THEN their second date was almost not possible. But Aaron & Ivy MADE IT HAPPEN! They transformed their property into a desert paradise for the wedding.

Aaron & Ivy’s original wedding date was in May 2020. As everyone knows COVID changed everything. So, Aaron & Ivy were faced with canceling their wedding, postponing their wedding, or moving the date. They chose to move their date to August 2020. We for sure thought all this would have already passed. Wrong!!! But it is ok…COVID was not stopping these two. I’m so happy they chose to go through with it. It was beyond perfect.

I met Aaron & Ivy through our #mlbride Sarah. She referred us after we did her wedding in Vegas. Love her!!! Did you know referrals are a photographer’s best, most thoughtful compliment? I knew right when I met Aaron & Ivy that we would be a great fit.

Ivy and Aaron met through mutual friends. Their first date was in Kernville with the same MATCHMAKER mutual friends Megan & Austin. Not long after that, Aaron knew she was the one and didn’t want to miss another day with her. Aaron surprised Ivy and proposed in Vegas. She had NO clue. She was very shocked and excited, but she said YAS!!! Now it is official…Ivy Tucker.

The day of the wedding was a little hot, but not too shabby for the desert. When Victor and I drove up, I was instantly like yesss this location is EVERYTHING! Their original venue is in a commercial area with not a lot of greenery or scenery. So when they said they were moving their wedding location I was ok with it.

Their house did not disappoint. Ivy prepped at home and Aaron prepped about 5 mins away at the house of one of his groomsmen. They were both surrounded by their closest friends and family. After prep, we headed to the first look. Aaron’s expression to his bride was priceless. Aaron is huge, very tall, but sweet as can be. I am sure Ivy can agree he’s like a big teddy bear. He is very respectful and protective of Ivy. Ivy is a showstopper for sure. So veryyyyyyy gorgeous. Ivy is the calmer one. Quiet, sweet, and determined.

I am the biggest cry baby ever when Aaron started to thank us during speeches I did everything I could to hold in the tears. Ivy and Aaron had been through so much with their wedding. It was the best feeling ever to see them finally tie the knot.

Ivy And Aaron, we cannot thank you enough for choosing us to document your special day. I look forward to continuing this crazy journey called life with you. I can’t wait to watch Axel grow into a fine young man. I am excited for this new chapter in life for you. May the Lord bless you with many many years of happiness. Love your faces dearly. We will see you soon.
