It was a pleasure witnessing everyone come together to celebrate this gorgeous couple’s love. This was an exciting day for me because I used to work with Barbara’s mother Brandi. Brandi and I worked together at The Kern High District in the sisterhood of lunch teachers. Heyyyy! I’ve been working hard building our business, and I don’t have time to visit good friends/co-workers. I truly love and miss everyone I came in contact with. I truly love people. I met so many amazing people during my ten years in the district. I literally grew up there. I love to see how families unite and express their emotions on a wedding day. It’s a huge compliment to have my old co-workers come to me when it’s their daughter special day.

Victor and I first arrived at Brandy’s house were Barbara was getting ready. Barbara was absolutely gorgeous from the minute we arrived. Her make up was finished, so she was getting her beautiful long blond hair curled. Victor rarely gets to the second shoot with me as he is usually shooting video. I love having Victor as a second shooter because he can capture moments while I style the wedding details and shoot candids. I have endless creativity when it comes to wedding details, and the more time I have the more creative I can be. Barbara’s dress was stunning and her veil was very pretty as well. We had the honor to meet Ross’s mom because she was getting ready along with the bridesmaids. Barbara’s dad was also there. He was so excited to see his daughter get married. There was rain in the forecast, but nothing was going to stop this beautiful union from happening. I assured Barbara that no matter what we would capture some beautiful images in the rain, sleet, or snow. The weather and the timing could not have been more perfect. Once we were settled in at The Noriega House, Ross and Barbara shared a first look before the ceremony. It’s non-traditional, but in their case it was perfect. It was perfect because it allowed us to start capturing images before the potential rain came. Ross’s reaction was priceless. He was so happy to see his bride to be he could not stop smiling. Shortly after once they were ready we captured some amazing photos. All the guest started arriving, and the ceremony was on its way. Everything was perfect, beautiful and intimate. The rain did come. It was only drizzling. They shared their first dance as husband and wife in a light sprinkle it was very romantic. Barbara was also celebrating her birthday. Everyone was having a great time including Victor and I. All of her guests were excited and full of love for these two. We said our good bye’s before the sparkler exit because I knew they were leaving right after. It was a romantic exit and the start of their new lives as husband and wife.

Enjoy the honeymoon you two!  I wish you both the best in life. I love you guys and your parents. Your families are awesome. Thank you for trusting us to capture your union. Oh, and I can’t wait to plant my Texas wildflower seeds!!!!!! So excited!!!!
