Salvador + Patricia | Married

Santa Barbara Wedding Photographer - Marianne Lucas

The weather was perfect for a spring wedding at The Station. The Springhill Suites by Marriott is a very nice hotel here in town. Patricia & Sal both did their prep at the same hotel, which was super helpful for us. So thank you from our team.

Patricia was very relaxed as she was getting ready with her bridesmaids. Their floral arrangements were pink, white, blush, and greenery. Patricia and her bridesmaids made all the bouquets and boutonnieres. They came out very nice. Great JOB girls!!! Patricia’s dress was a mermaid style with a long detachable gorgeous train, and the bridesmaid’s dresses were mauve colored. Perfect colors for a wedding at The Station! Salvador was a little nervous leading up to the ceremony. He was sporting a blue suit with mauve bowtie, and his groomsmen were rockin grey. The guys were also very relaxed, and they like to have a good time. Patricia rode in style to St. Joseph Church in a white 57 Chevy classic.

Patricia looked so happy, walking down the aisle with her mom and dad. Salvador could not hold back his emotions and love for Patricia as a tear fell. The pastor was funny and entertaining. When it came time to give the virgin mary her flowers, he instructed all the mothers to go to the front. Soon after he told the Mariachi band to play a special song for all mothers for mothers day, that touched my heart. Salvador and Patricia exchanged vows in front of all their family and friends and shared a romantic kiss.

Once we arrived at The Station, they were greeted by their family & friends. There was an awesome band when they arrived. The band was playing lively music that’s contagious on the feet. The sun was going down, and we were able to sneak away to capture soft romantic portraits at sunset. Once the sun was down, the party came to life.

After dinner came some heartfelt speeches from anyone who wanted to share. They had an open mic, and Patricia’s little sister got emotional during her speech; it even made me cry. Patricia and Salvador gave everyone thanks for joining them on their special day. They shared a slow dance, and then a fast paced song for their first dance as husband and wife. If you didn’t know Salvador and Patricia love to dance to banda music with happy melodies, they did the traditional Mexican snake dance too. Soon after came the bouquet toss and garter toss. They had a fantastic night of festivities and a ton of dancing. Their cake was unique and GORGEOUS. They each shared a piece of sweetness.

Patricia and Salvador, congratulations and we wish you the best life has to offer. Thank you for choosing us to capture both of your weddings. The beach was epic and so was this wedding. Great job on all the planning and details. We had so much fun with you guys and your sweet families. You guys are very loved and blessed. Love your faces!!!!
