Blake + Sabrina | Engaged

Santa Barbara Wedding Photographer - Marianne Lucas

Hi friends!

Let’s all give it up for one of the sweetest couples ever: Sabrina & Blake.

As a southern California photographer, there’s not much I love more than sweet couples, great love stories, and beautiful photos.

Sabrina told me all about how she and Blake met. Sabrina’s cousin Josh brought him to her daughter’s birthday party one year. After that, they would run into each other every once in a while. One day Blake text Sabrina out of the blue and invited her to his softball game. This was the beginning of a beautiful three year relationship. After taking a short break, they ended up finding themselves at the same place at the same time again. They both realized it was meant to be and they have been inseparable ever since.

She also filled me in on the proposal. On their son’s first birthday party Blake was thanking everyone for coming and at the end, he says” I have a surprise.” Everyone was so confused. That’s when he got down on one knee in front of everyone and asked Sabrina to be his wife. Of course, she said Y-E-S! The cutest part about it was their daughter, Jae, and Blake had been planning it for weeks.

Their wedding date is set for September 7th. It will also be their five year dating anniversary. They will be getting married at the beautiful Old Town Chapel, and their reception will be at The Women’s Club in downtown Bakersfield. They’re are excited to spend the rest of their lives together. It’s so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other!

You’ll see what I mean when you see the photos. Enjoy my favorite’s from their engagement session. I hope you love them as much as I do!
