Family, friends, mariachi, music and good food. What an awesome day! George and Patty made us feel like part of the family, and we are honored to present to you their lovely wedding. Since family is important for both they decided to honor their loved ones who are no longer with us with a “Dia de los muertos” (Day of the Dead) party decorations. Just like Patty and George their decorations were colorful, vibrant, and full of life.

   The day started cloudy, but it quickly cleared up. The wind seemed to bring with it a cold front, and we were relying on the friendly warmth from the sun. It was a bit windy, but nothing was going to halt the celebration. I love the way they party. I don’t think there are enough hours in the day for these two to have celebrated. Patty was concerned when getting ready about the weather, but it was only 7 in the morning. I reassured her that that everything was going to be fine, and it turned out great! They both looked amazing!

     Through out the day there were delicious aromas of Mexican food dancing melodically in the air. We ate to our stomachs content. Our taste buds thank you both for that. If you can think of a Mexican desert or drink, they had it from pan dulce (sweet bread) to Jarittos (soda pop). Lets just say there was so much good Mexican food we were experiencing food bliss.  

     George loves Patty so much he was overwhelmed with emotion when he first saw his bride to be during the first look. It wasn’t any different for ceremony his love is genuine. They both love each other ever so tenderly. The officiant was a really nice down to earth gentleman. His ceremony was full of good advice and laughter. It was very entertaining and fun.

     After cocktail hour and tacos, we did their bridal portraits in front of this huge rustic wooden door. They had so much fun and we knocked it out fast considering they had twenty of their closest friends and family in their wedding party.

     They danced to traditional Mexican dancing like the Vibora de la mar (Mexican conga line) and Zapateado (Mexican tap dance). Ive never seen such a pretty and delicious desert table like the one they had. After some heart felt toast they danced the night away.
