There is no better time than the fall to get married in Bakersfield, California. The weather is perfect on that Saturday afternoon.

We started the day capturing the love Andrew and his parents have for each other. They are a very close-knit family. His mom and dad are so sweet and very hospitable. We love them. Witnessing their love for God and each other was special. Andrew was filled with emotion to marry the girl of his dreams. He was looking sharp sporting an all-black tuxedo with a black bow tie. The white handkerchief and boutonnière just tied it all together.
Stephanie was getting ready with her bridesmaids. Stephanie and her grandmother have a special love for her. It was an honor to witness their devotion to God and family. Stephanie’s gown was gorgeous, and she looks beautiful effortlessly. I loved the sleeves on her dress. GORGEOUSSSSSS!!!
The ceremony was amazing it was a testimony to God’s power. Andrew’s father did the officiating, and he shared a very emotional story. Andrew is the testimony’s of his parent’s faith, and to pronounce Andrew and Stephenie husband and wife was such a great honor for his father. You could see how proud Andrews father was. He gave him the best advice backed by the word of God. It was very emotional for everyone including me. It was beautiful, to say the least. One of my favorite moments was the song choice when their first kiss was pronounced. Marvin Gaye “Let’s get it on” it was hilarious and cute at the same time. My very most favorite moment was right before we left prep from Andrew his father prayed over him. It was an extraordinary moment. The reception was excellent short & sweet. Everyone was very loving and friendly. It was the perfect atmosphere for the two. The toasts were heartfelt testimonies of the love everyone has for each other.
Some family friends allowed Andrew & Stephanie to take portraits at their home. The house was Victorian with a vintage touch. They both looked stunning together. The fun didn’t stop there. They are a true ML couple. They trusted our vision in a dry river bed. Yes, you heard right a Bakersfield, dry river bed. The light was, and the look was timeless. It was magic. Shortly after we said our goodbyes, and start our next mission for the day.
Andrew and Stephanie, we wish you guys the best in life and we know with God as your foundation there is nothing that can stop you guys. Thank you for trusting us in every part of your special day. Your families are wonderful and loving. You two are very blessed. I am so excited to see where this new chapter takes you. I loved how sweet your wedding was. It was truly about love and less about the party. You guys did a great job all the way around. We love your faces!!!!!
