Happy Sunday! We are pleased to bring you Jane and Dave Howlett’s wedding on the blog today. Jane is such a sweetheart, and Dave has that perfect smile. Jane and I met each other when I was a Supervisor at the Kern High school District.  She always made me feel comfortable and was very helpful when I first got hired. When she chose our team to document her wedding I was overly excited & honored.

The weather was perfect. It was a gorgeous day in Bakersfield. We started the day with Dave and his guys. He was excited to see Jane in her wedding gown. Dave had 10 of his closest longtime friends join the bridal party. Jane was ready to rock when we arrived. Her hair and makeup were done, and she looked adorable. Her closest friends and family surrounded her. Her dog was even in on the action. The whole day was filled with tears of joy. After getting into her dress, we headed over to Sacred Heart Church for a sweet, heartfelt ceremony. Following the service, we did family pictures inside the church. We took them outside for the bridal party pictures, and we finished with their bridal portraits. Their group was fun, respectful and most important cooperative. They were a fun group. The party continued at the Women’s Club downtown. Jane and Dave make such a cute couple they wanted to make sure they each got the ceremony they wanted, so they had two. One of their longtime friends officiated the second ceremony at the Women’s Club, and it was just as unique. At the second ceremony, they read their vowls which were super cute. Tacos were on the menu, and they were delicious. The toast was very emotional and heartfelt. You could feel the love in the room. We managed to sneak in a few more pictures at the end. They finished the night dancing and having fun with their family and friends. It was an honor to witness these two lovebirds become one. Something extraordinary I will never forget was Grammy’s grapes. They have been carried on for generations, and I loved that they incorporated them into their engagement session and their wedding.

Jane & Dave from our first meeting to the wedding I knew you two were going to be fun to work with. I remember your engagement session in SLO. We had too much fun. So many laughs, locations, and adventures. I have enjoyed seeing all your plans and ideas come to life. You guys truly rocked it. Your wedding was gorgeous down to every detail. Dave, your such a cool guy. I love how excited you both were to plan your wedding. Some guys are not into the planning, but Dave you were a rock star. Jane, you are just too cute. Love both of your faces!!! Thank you for choosing our team to document your wedding.
