Happy Monday!!!! I am super excited to bring you Carlos and Rachel’s GORGEOUS Fall wedding. First off Carlos is an AMAZING florist & designer here in town. When he contacted me to shoot his wedding, I started doing a happy dance. That was such a huge compliment for me. Carlos, Rachel & Blu Events did a fantastic job planning and designing their wedding. Everything was very nicely detailed. The ceremony site was unique. Also, I was blown away by how Blu Events styled my details for me. It saved me so much time. Of course, I did some styling too. However, it was awesome to see another persons detail perspective. It was refreshing. Rachel is such a fun bride she is super adorable. She is bubbly, giggly, and always so happy. I LOVE it that’s my kind of bride. Rachel’s dress was just as beautiful, and she is. She just lit up the minute she put her gown on. Carlos looked very sharp in his black & white suit. Carlos’s attire made all the details pop even more. Their families are a close nit. We admire that as we are very close with our families as well. We captured some gorgeous individual portraits of Rachel & Carlos right before the ceremony got started.

They chose The Monji Gardens to say their vows and get ready. Monji is a new venue here in Bakersfield it’s very charming. The ceremony was intimate, colorful, and emotional. It was set up as a circle ceremony, and gorgeous dark roses and mauve flowered adorned the site. Their reception was at the Women’s club here in Bakersfield. I loved how modern, and beautiful the colors they chose. Carlos is famous for this of course his wedding was going to be epic. I would have to say they had the most and gorgeous details I have ever shot. Make It Happen events & Blu Event know what they are doing, and they are very good at it. Many many of my couples choose Carlos for their wedding. He is so in demand I have bride’s wanting to change their dates to have him for decorating. So if you want him, you should book him early.

The weather was a little chilly, but it felt amazing. Fall is in full force here in Bakersfield. The Cabrera’s picked the perfect day for their wedding. I always have a few favorite moments of the day. One of them was their parent dances. I loved how they both danced with both their parents during these special dances. During Rachel and her Dad’s dance Carlos danced with Rachel mother. Also, during Carlos and his mom dance, Rachel danced with Carlos’s father. It was precious!!! One of my favorite moments was when Carlos saw his bride walking down the aisle. His eyes lit up with joy. Rachel looked stunning. My most favorite of all was during their first dance they had a singer/ pianist doing a solo for them it was AMAZING to witness. I loved everything about their wedding. Can we do it again??

Carlos & Rachel thank you for allowing me to capture one of the most special days of your life. I was more than honored to chosen to document your wedding. You guys did a fabulous job; your wedding ran so smooth. High five rockstars everything was more than perfect. I am super excited to see what’s all in store for you two. Congratulations to you both!!!!. May the Lord bless you with many years of happiness and joy. You guys will always be our family, and I look forward to many many more years together. Rachel thank you for inviting me to your bridal shower as well. You really know how to make a girl feel special. Thank you for everything!!!!
