Luxury Wedding at Rio Bravo Country Club

Welcome back to our blog. Thank you for joining us. This week I will be introducing you to Diana & Ruben and their Rio Bravo Country Club Wedding. They married at St. Francis and had the reception at Rio Bravo Country Club this past weekend in Bakersfield, California.

Groom & bride prep took place at The Padre Hotel with all their closest friends and family near their side. Maria, my MLBride in 2017, was the makeup artist, which made my heart smile. We started with Ruben first; he finished up prep when we arrived. Ruben had a room full of his best friends a bunch of awesome guys very respectful and excited for their friend’s celebration. All of his groomsmen had custom socks with their favorite football teams. I thought that was super cool and unique. Ruben’s suit fit him perfect, he looked flawless. At the end of prep, Ruben informed us that they are going to do a gender reveal after toasts. Because guess what????? The Lord blessed these two with a baby. Oh, this was one of my favorite events of the reception.

Diana’s prep was next. As we headed into bride prep, I was excited to document all the laughter and love in the girl’s room. Same as Ruben’s room, Diana’s location was full of beautiful faces too. Which is perfect, because the more friends and family you can surround your self with the better. Family is EVERYTHING!!!! Diana’s dress is incredible, which is why it fit her body so perfectly. I love the detail on her dress, and the open back is stunning. Diana’s gown must have screamed her name when she saw it. She looked INCREDIBLE in her gwon. Next was wedding details!!!! I am obsessed with bridal detail shots. Bridal prep is the part of the day that helps my creative mind start flowing.

The Guerrero’s married at St. Francis Parish having a traditional Catholic wedding. Choosing to say their vows in the church goes to show their love for the Lord and each other. I love how each of their parents blessed them before even walking down the aisle. It was precious!!!!! BTW this is their religious ceremony because they had a civil wedding last year. So technically they are already husband & wife. The church ceremony ran very smoothly. After the ceremony, we did a few family formals inside the church then headed to Rio Bravo.

Ruben & Diana’s reception setup was elegant with a romantic feel. All of their vendors came together to make everything look PERFECT. Diana & Ruben have fabulous taste in design. I love how everything turned out. After a delicious dinner, we started all the reception events. We started toasts and then it was a gender reveal time. YAYYY!!!! Ruben’s sister and one of his groomsmen popped the confetti poppers to reveal the gender. It is a GIRL!!!!!!!! How exciting!!! If you know me I am always #teamgirl. I guess having all girls makes me have a soft spot for girls. Awwww I was so honored to be a part of both of these two very special moments in their lives. It was the CUTEST EVER!!!! As I looked around there were TEARS flowing everywhere. It was precious!!!

Their whole reception was lively. Everyone there was dancing their tails off. It could not have gone any better.

Ruben & Diana, thank you for sharing these special moments in your life with us. Thank you for allowing us to serve you and your families on your wedding day. Ruben, you are hilarious!!! They were not playing when everyone talked about how you are the life of the party. So true!!! Ruben, thank you for serving our country. We appreciate you!!! Diana, you are ABSOLUTELY gorgeous and glowing. Thank you for being a military wife. I am sure that is not easy. I am so excited to see you become a mommy. Baby Guerrero is going to be a very exciting new chapter in your lives. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Guerrero!!!! May the Lord bless you with many more years of happiness.
