Beautiful Bakersfield blooming cotton field engagement photos

Hi friends! Meet Marco and Andria, one of my gorgeous #mlcouples! I’m so excited to share their stories and their Bakersfield cotton field engagement photos with you!

Marco and Andria agreed to something I rarely get to do…two engagement sessions! We first met up at a hidden, secluded location in Bakersfield for some fun, casually romantic photos. Then, they got all dressed up and met up with me again for some blooming cotton field engagement photos so that I could practice my film photography. I’m so thankful for these two and their willingness to shoot with me more than once!

Marco and Andria met in high school and bonded over a common Portuguese background. After chatting for a few days, they eventually went their separate ways. It wasn’t until three years later, when Marco randomly messaged Andria on Facebook, that they reconnected and began their romance.

I absolutely love their proposal story because it includes PHOTOS! They were hosting a housewarming party to celebrate their new home. As they do at all other family gatherings, they got everyone together for a family photo. Just as a friend was taking their “family photos,” Marco got down on one knee and popped the question! Some of the family knew ahead of time, but it was a complete surprise to Andria and most of their family and friends! I love that they got photos of the moment…so special!

Marco and Andria are having a beautiful fall wedding in October of 2020. We can’t wait to celebrate with them…and to enjoy a few tacos from their taco truck!

Marco and Andria, thank you so much for agreeing to two beautiful engagement sessions! I loved sharing that with you!

Here are some of my favorites of their Bakersfield cotton field engagement photos.
